Anastasia Stročková

Anastasia’s work is structured, colorful, and completely unique. A graduate of UMPRUM and a fan of the wide range of uses for illustration, from magazines to book covers and animation backgrounds to festival visuals.

Anastasia is one of the most successful Czech illustrators, and not just in our small domestic pond. Her achievements include being selected for the Bologna Children’s Book Fair and world exhibitions within the BCBF. In the Czech Republic, she has collaborated with publishers Albatros, Argo, Běžíliška, and Paseka.

For the Tititi plus illustration, Anastasia chose Pimprlat Comedia dell’Arte figures and placed them in a Venetian setting.

Tititi plus Illustrators 2025

You may remember that the first series of Tititi figurines, designed by invited illustrators and painters, was introduced in 2020. Now comes its sequel in the form of digital prints—a limited edition series.

Each creator took on one figurine and breathed their own style into it. We are printing 10 copies of the resulting illustrations, which will be available for purchase on tititi.cz or directly at the studio.

How are Tititi figurines made?

Tititi is a brand founded in 2019 by Tereza Talichová, which has since managed to establish itself in the field of contemporary Czech design for children. It focuses on the author’s painted wooden figurines, personifying in an individual form a number of different types of people, artists or dramatic characters from theatrical or literary works, viewed through a playful lens and with attention to detail.

Each of the figures is first created by turning the body of the figurine from wood (spruce, oak, linden). Except for exceptions, it is a symmetrical, vertical shape, individualized according to the designed profile (silhouette) and then finished with an original painting
